At what stage in the development of my device should I come to MMD?
Our typical customer has already been through at least one prototyping run and is now ready for volume production. Although we do not specialize in MEMS device design, we have formed partnerships with companies that do. Whatever stage your device is in, contact us. We can help.

What wafer sizes do you work with?
Our production line is presently tooled for both 100mm and 150mm wafers, albeit current production capacity for our newer 150mm wafers, while expanding, is somewhat volume limited at present. In addition, we can and have worked with a variety of unconventional or unique substrate shapes and sizes. Give us a try.

What substrates will you work with?
MMD is experienced working with a wide variety of substrate materials; SOS, SOI, glass, quartz, and even flexible substrates are just a few that we have experience with. Our automated production line is capable of handling opaque, transparent, and semi-transparent substrates.

What materials will you work with?
We routinely process with materials considered contaminants by other foundries. Gold, Platinum, Silver, Bismuth, Antimony, Nickel, and Germanium are just a few of the materials that we use in regular production. Have an unusual material requirement? Contact us to see if we can help.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?
For prototype and first-time production runs, we typically process a minimum of 12 wafers. Our production line can handle recurring production in quantities from 24 wafers per year to over 500 wafers per year, depending upon the application.

How complex of an application can you handle?
Our typical application contains from 5-10 photolithography mask layers and over 100 individual processing steps. Do you have an application that is more complex? Contact us. We love to be challenged!
